Ember coffee

Graphic Design Art Direction Illustration Copy

I created an Icon that would represent Ember Coffee—a memorable character that is playful and intentional. The mountain goat references the high-altitude regions where this Jackson Hole–based roaster sources its beans, grounding the brand in a sense of place and origin.

I used a vintage ski town theme to tie everything together. That is referenced in the roast names, carrying the brand story into even the smallest details.

Jackson Hole is a vibrant ski town nestled near Grand Teton National Park, with a long history rooted in ski culture and mountain tourism. I wanted the imagery for Ember Coffee to reflect that spirit—creating a visual stamp of what Jackson Hole is and has been.

Drawing inspiration from vintage ski posters, I designed a series of playful graphic posters that echo the bold colors and dynamic compositions of the originals. These pieces can live on social media or throughout the city, helping express the brand’s personality while drawing people toward Ember Coffee and its product.
